Since its founding in 1879, Barton 1792 Distillery has been the oldest operating distillery in the center of Bardstown, Kentucky, the heart of bourbon production. Set on an impressive 196 acres, it houses 29 warehouses for the careful barrel aging of its bourbon, in addition to 22 other buildings, including an impressive distillery house and the famous Tom Moore Spring. The production process of this bourbon combines traditional methods with a keen attention to detail. The resulting mash is distilled in traditional pot stills, creating the characteristic flavor base of the bourbon.
