This whiskey is a unique Irish speciality which is produced in the Pure Pot Still process. It differs from other single malts in that a mixture of unmalted and malted barley is used. This is followed by a triple distillation.
An 8 year old whisky from Midleton is used, a quarter of which was stored in sherry casks. The rest was stored in a Bourbon cask.
However, the bottle label does not state that it is a pure Pure Pot Still Irish Whiskey.
Empfehlung von Ian Buxton, so was wie ein "Quastenflosser" des Whisk(e)ys, den es eigentlich gar nicht mehr geben dürfte. Für mein Empfinden etwas leichtgewichtig, dafür aber schön abgerundet.
