Bailoni Wachauer Marillenlikör is a protected designation of origin and this high-quality product may only be produced in the Wachau. The traditional family business Bailoni has been distilling since 1872 at its headquarters in Krems-Stein, directly on the Danube.

Tasting notes:
The freshly harvested apricots are processed so gently that not only the flavour but also many vitamins are preserved. The fully ripe, hand-picked and pitted fruits are pressed into apricot juice.
The colour and aroma come exclusively from the self-pressed apricot juice. The fruit content is twice as high as the legally required 20%. Noble apricot distillates provide a fine note.

Ich verwende meinen Lieblingsmarillenlikör fast ausschließlich zum kleinen Genuss am späten Abend und manchmal auch für Desserts. Da er in Deutschland nur selten in den Regalen zu finden ist, oder immer gerade „weg“, wenn ich eine Flasche kaufen will, habe ich mich sehr gefreut, ihn in der Produktpalette des Anbieters gefunden zu haben, und werde ihn dort jetzt immer bestellen.
