Gin from Austria
Not only lovers of wine and beer get their money's worth in Austria - Austria has also caught up strongly with gin producers in recent decades. 130 producers produce a remarkable variety of high-quality gins. Mr Reisetbauer drove the production of whisky and gin in Austria - his spirits are now internationally known. Among other things, the old wheat variety "Mulan" is used for this purpose. Selected botanicals from all over the world (and Austria) are combined with local spring water. Quality is the highest commandment of the Austrian Dry Gin. Other popular brands are the 1542 London Dry Gin from Hödlhof, the "Aeijst" Gin named after branches of conifers and the Gin+ from Western Styria.
