Gin from Iceland
Greenland is the only country further north apart from Iceland that produces gin. Despite its northern location and the challenging climatic conditions, the grain for gin production is grown in Iceland. Barley is mainly used for this, other botanicals such as juniper berries, angelica roots, moss, kale and thyme also come from Iceland.
