Since 1999 the Slyrs Distillery has been producing the first and only Upper Bavarian Sinlge Malt Whisky in the classic rough- and fine brandy method.
From barley malt and mountain spring water, stored in new oak casks with 225 litres capacity, a vintage spirit is created, which is only filled in a limited number of bottles.
Slyrs Sherry Edition No. 3 Oloroso Finish receives its finishing in the barrels of the renowned Spanish Bodegas Tradición.

For up to nine months, the SLYRS Single Malt Whisky was allowed to release the noble sherry aromas from the pores of the wood, absorb the tannins and aromas and mature into a SLYRS OLOROSO with a noble taste and a wonderful dark amber appearance.
A dry whisky which, through additional storage in the Olorso cask, has gained a spicy aroma with fragrant nut notes.
