The Rothschild winery is located near Pauillac in the French Bordeaux wine-growing region.
The estate is fully named "Château Mouton-Rothschild" and has existed since the early 14th century. The largest part of the cultivated area (almost 80%) is dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon.
The total area under vines is over 82 hectares.
The labels on the bottles are designed each year by another prominent artist such as Guiseppe Penone, Pablo Picasso or Andy Warhol.
Over the last few decades, the original winery has developed into a huge wine group that is now one of the world's largest wineries.
