Rum from Jamaica
Jamaica is a Caribbean island blessed with lush mountainous landscapes as well as plenty of rainforest and gorgeous beaches. Jamaican Caribbean rum is known for its heaviness and intense spiciness. However, due to high demand, more and more lighter rums are now being produced. Among buccaneers, the "Kill Devil" rum was highly popular because it did not spoil even on long sea voyages. The Royal Navy also noticed the miraculous abilities of Jamaica rum and made it available to its own troops - international trade flourished. Enjoy your Jamaica Rum pure or in a cocktail.
On EXPERT24 you will find a wide variety of Jamaican rum brands besides Appleton Estate, Compagnie des Indes, Habitation, Hunter Laing, J.Wrag and Silver Sail.
Rum from Trinidad and Tobago
Our premium and gold rums from Trinidad and Tobago are waiting for you.
Trinidad and Tobago is a Caribbean country that consists of 2 islands and is located near Venezuela. Already in 1942, the region was discovered by Christopher Columbus, of which the islanders were not very enthusiastic and successfully chased away the potential conquerors. It was not until a hundred years later that European settlement succeeded and the island became British property. Since 1962 Tobago has been an independent state, which has largely stopped rum production. Trinidad, on the other hand, holds on to this old tradition. Companies like Moon Import Trinidad, Plantation Rum, Silver Seal TRINIDAD, Twezo and Ultimatum Rum can be found in our EXPERT24 assortment!
Rum from Martinique
In 1502, the navigator Christopher Columbus discovered the island of Martinique in the course of his now fourth voyage. The island belongs to the Lesser Antilles and impresses with picturesque beautiful and contrasting landscapes. But Martinique also has a lot to offer in terms of rum. From the year 1700, the cultivation of sugar cane increased continuously, which is why the sugar molasses was even smuggled to Europe. The French overseas department scores with a special kind of rum production. Experienced customers recognize this at first glance, because the end product is called "rhum" to make the difference immediately apparent. As a rule, sugar cane molasses is used as the basic ingredient - in this case, the "rhum" is produced directly from freshly pressed sugar cane juice. Characteristic of the rum from Martinique is without the usual sweetness of molasses rum, the slight fruitiness.
